Senior Fullstack Engineer (Working Remote and Onsite)

Micromobility Company-Transportation Ecosystem Application in Asia Pacific.
Main Technical: Typescript, Golang, Node.js, React Native, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Snowflake, MQTT, K8S, GitOps, ArgoCD, AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex software systems scaling to millions of users with production quality deployment, monitoring, and reliability.
• Develop across the full-stack (backend, mobile, UI/UX, operations)
• Work closely with various business partners including product, design, government relations, business development, strategy, and operations to solve high-impact problems.
• Writing functional and integration tests.
• Sharp problem-solving skills and ability to resolve ambiguous requirements.
• Report to an engineering manager or the director of engineering (Depending on the leveling)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related STEM field is preferred.
• Junior Engineers (2-3 years of experience) or Senior Engineers (4+ years of experience)
• Had expertise in one or more object-oriented design methodology and large-scale application development (e.g. Kotlin, Ruby, Python, Go, Java, C++).
• Experience building user interfaces with HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent English communication skills
• Preference off stack/technology experience: don’t have any requirements in terms of programming language or tech stack experience because an engineer can be a good engineer regardless of specific experience. Refer Candidates have worked at a tech company with modern frameworks and languages previously.

Dealing with Travel Restrictions: Client will require candidates to move to their Malaysia office; however, while travel is restricted, the candidates can start temporarily in Vietnam. Client will provide a work pass and relocation grant and the candidates can start as contractors: will need to sign an agreement to move over to Malaysia when travel is allowed.

Working time: 9AM- 5PM (Vietnam)

Interview Process:

1. Short automatic online coding exercise : 120 mins
2. Short Recruiter phone screen  (15min)
3. Test code : 120 mins (algorithms, and code quality) 
4. Client onsite/zoom technical interview
