Hardware Test/QA Lead Engineer

Description

• Work closely with our embedded systems engineers and product managers to understand product requirements.
• Develop an overall test strategy to be used throughout TeleSense’s product life-cycle: 
  • Test plans for embedded systems hardware and firmware to assure specification compliance and functional completeness
  • End-to-end integration test
  • Participate in and supervise the running of these tests
  • Provide active feedback to the development team

Advice on DFM requirements related to the testability of products in high volume-manufacturing and assure that our designs will ultimately be producible.

• Work with 3rd party ODMs to implement volume production test strategies

Requirement

•  
  • BS/BA degree or higher in Engineering and/or CS, or equivalent industry experience. 
  • 5+ years’ experience in Hardware/Product QA/Test   
  • Track record of involvement with products that have been delivered to market
  • Experience with embedded systems programming and troubleshooting is highly desirable
  • Experience working with 3rd party certification i.e.-  UL, FCC...
  • Experience with IP rated products, IP certifications, and safety certifications (i.e. ATEX) is a big plus
  • Strong people skills and openness to feedback
  • This is a full-time position with the potential to grow into a management position as the company grows
