About the Role
We are looking for a results-oriented Sales & Business Development Manager to drive our growth in the Pharmaceutical Active Ingredients (API) market in Vietnam. This role combines new business development, account management, and cross-border collaboration. You will work closely with both local clients and international teams, playing a critical role in expanding our presence and strengthening long-term partnerships in Vietnam’s fast-growing pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Sales Growth
- Lead sales of pharmaceutical APIs in Vietnam, actively promoting products through client visits, presentations, seminars, and exhibitions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, with a strong focus on expanding market coverage and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Client Management
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, and related stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support and consultation to clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Product Portfolio Management
- Manage and promote a portfolio of core APIs, with emphasis on key antibiotic and specialty categories aligned with the company’s global strategy.
- Monitor industry demand trends and provide insights to headquarters for product positioning and pricing strategy.
Cross-Border Collaboration
- Work closely with international teams (Sales, Procurement, Logistics) to coordinate supply chain, product registration, and delivery schedules.
- Bridge communication between clients in Vietnam and global HQ teams across different time zones and cultural backgrounds.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Plant Protection, Agriculture, International Trade, or related fields.
- Strong learning agility, self-motivation, and ability to perform under pressure.
- Proven experience in independently developing markets, building client networks, and closing deals.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written); Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with a passion for pharmaceutical sales.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with Sales, Procurement, and Logistics teams.
